Kisan Mela at Chhajpur, Panipat (Haryana)

NCIPM organised a kisan mela on 28th September 2007 at village Chhajpur, Panipat, Haryana.  Dr. T.P. Rajendran, ADG (PP) was the Chief Guest.  Other dignitaries participated are Dr. Jain, Project Coordinator (Nematodes), Dr. Dahiya, I/c KVK, Panipat, Dr. Gosai, I/c KVK, Karnal, Dr. Amardeep Singh, SDO (Agri), Haryana and Dr. V.P. Singh, Vice President, KRBL Ltd.  About 700 farmers of district Panipat and adjoining districts participated apart from officals from SAU, ICAR, KVK and Industries.  

KRISHI EXPO 2007, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi 

The Centre participated in KRISHI EXPO at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi organized by ITPO with the collaboration of Ministry of Agriculture by putting IPM exhibition in the ICAR pavilion from February 21-25, 2007, Hon’ble Union State Minister of Agriculture Shri Kanti Lal Bhuria inaugurated this exhibition. Thousands of the visitors from different walk of life visited IPM stall and shown their keen interest in the depicted IPM technologies, NCIPM publications, PMIS, live demonstration of IPM components and natural enemies. The IPM validated technologies literature were demonstrated on cotton, rice, pulses, oilseeds and vegetables.
